每当我们在扩展欧洲卡车模拟2的游戏世界时，我们必须谨慎考虑如何将其与现有内容合适地连接起来。这常常意味着需要为附近的国家增加新内容，即便该国家实际上不属于DLC的一部分，同时也为我们提供了一个机会以进一步制作，真实地呈现相应地区。里雅斯特便是这样的一个例子，其距离斯洛文尼亚科佩尔仅约8公里，我们将以基础游戏更新形式带来这座新城市，为西巴尔干DLC的推出提供基础！

里雅斯特坐落于意大利东北部，是一座拥有精美建筑的美丽城市，它还有着一座深水港，同时是欧洲最重要的交通枢纽之一。因此，作为一名卡车驾驶员，你将能够驾车穿越里雅斯特湾附近的港口区域。在这条道路上可以看到里雅斯特的大部分区域，还有机会发现一座地标性的教堂，所以无论大家是因工作而到访，或仅仅只是路过，我们肯定这座城市会有每个人喜欢的地方！

West Balkans - Trieste

We know what you are thinking right now. Isn’t the city of Trieste outside of the actual West Balkans region? Well, there is a bit more to today’s blog post than the title suggests. Keep reading and you will find out!

Every time that we are expanding the world of Euro Truck Simulator 2, we have to carefully consider how to appropriately connect it to the already existing content. Quite often this means adding something new even to the countries nearby that are technically not a part of the DLC, as it gives us an opportunity to further develop the real-life representation of the given area. This is exactly the case with Trieste, which is located only about 8 kilometers away from Slovenia’s Koper, and which we will introduce as part of a base game update paving the way for the launch of the West Balkans DLC!

Trieste is located in northeastern Italy, and, as well as being a beautiful city with amazing architecture, it is a deep-water port and one of the most important transport hubs in Europe. Due to this role, you, as a truck driver, will be able to drive through the port area near the Gulf of Trieste. This road will offer a view of a big part of the city, along with a chance to spot a part of a landmark church, so, whether you are visiting for work or just passing by, we’re sure the city will have something for everyone!
